I hope that everyone is having a blessed start to the new year <3
It is now 2020 so the countdown to studying abroad in Ghana is on. As of today, January 5th, we have 19 days!
I think i'm in the phase where i'm not sure what I have gotten myself into. I've tried to watch videos that students who have studied abroad have made to see how they prepared. I've talked to people, but I don't think anything can prepare me for the experience I am about to get.
I have also been intentional with my prayer in attempts to prepare for the trip. I pray for the other people embarking on the journey, our minds and hearts as we go away from our families, friends and everything that is familiar, and I pray that we will embrace our experience with open arms.
However, I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity. I have started putting things together and shopping for my last minute needs - Target has been a hotspot, lol. They have some really cute clothes and always have some great deals!
